[my journey of 1000 miles]

Welcome yogis and yoginis!
I began my journey over 30 years ago with a dedicated practice in the martial arts where I trained 2 to 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. This also included apprentice and full-time teaching. I explored various styles including Okinawan Karate, Tai Chi, Aikido, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Wing Chun Kung Fu.
In 2005, I began to explore various styles of yoga. But it was in 2018 when my wife guided me to fully transition to yoga. Following the same training regiment, I found an interest in various disciplines including hatha, Bikram hot yoga, vinyasa, ashtanga, and yin.
In 2020, we decided to take our practice to the next level and completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. In 2022, we achieved our 500 RYT with another 300 hours of training in Mexico. Because of my previous experience teaching the martial arts, it was a natural transition to yoga. You can read more about my teaching style in the other pages.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat soon!
