[this is how i flow]
There are a large number of asanas or yoga poses that are combined into a variety of yoga styles. All asanas and styles provide a potential for the practitioner to make it as challenging as they desire. It all comes down to the essence of the style, the teacher, and the student's individual interpretation of the asanas within the class setting. Ultimately, it is an art whose expression is as individual as the practitioner themselves. It's your yoga, make it your flow.

[vinyasa detroit flow]
A challenging and fast-paced style that is rooted in awareness through the breath. The transitions from one asana to next is timed with your pranayama.

[yin]
As opposed to the yang styles, Yin focuses on stressing the deep tissues of the body. This is done by holding poses for several minutes that gives the body time to open slowly.

[arm balances]
This is a workshop on the fundamentals of arm balances by breaking the mechanics down into easily understood segments. From beginner on up!

[power flow]
Similar to Vinyasa, the essence of this flow is to build strength and perfection through repetition of asanas. This is a very challenging class even for seasoned practitioners.

[yin yang] & [yinyasa]
These combine the best of yang with yin. Yin provides a great foundation for all yang styles and these blended practices provide a balanced training for body & mind.

[ytt anatomy instructor]
This is the anatomy module of a 200 or 300-hour YTT. I have a passion for biomechanics and strive to help students achieve their next level understanding yoga.

[hatha & hatha flows]
This style is a great foundation for perfecting your personal alignment of the asanas. This is accomplished by holding the poses longer to build strength, balance, and alignment.

[ashtanga vinyasa]
Based on the 8 limbs of yoga, this style repeats the same sequence of asanas. The fixed sequence is very challenging to perfect and maintain balanced physical energy throughout.
